Quote quote quote -Source of quote
Hestia is the Ancient Greek goddess of home and hearth. She is a virgin goddess (a goddess who does not marry). Babies were introduced to her by carrying them around the hearth. She was offered and prayed to first. There isn't a lot of mythology about her, but due to physical proximity, she was one of the most intimately involved of the Greek Gods.
